Gonzalo Duran

My name is Gonzalo Duran. I am a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, having served as a Sergeant, and an Iraq War veteran. I currently serve as Vice Chairman of the Bronx Conservative Party and as District Leader for the 79th Assembly District. I remain committed to serving my community, upholding the values of leadership and service, and working toward a stronger future for the people of the Bronx.

I consider myself a moderate conservative. I believe in approaching most political issues with an open mind and a willingness to consider different perspectives. However, when it comes to fiscal matters, I strongly believe in financial responsibility, accountability, and the prudent use of taxpayer dollars. These principles guide my conservative approach to fiscal policy while allowing me to remain moderate, pragmatic, and open to bipartisan solutions on a wide range of issues.

My goal is to strengthen the Bronx Conservative Party by expanding our membership, filling vacant party positions, and increasing our media presence and public visibility. I am committed to recruiting qualified candidates, ensuring that Conservative candidates are placed on the ballot, and building a stronger political presence throughout the Bronx. Ultimately, I hope to make history by helping elect the first member of the Conservative Party to public office in the Bronx. Through strong leadership, grassroots engagement, and a renewed commitment to our principles, we can build a stronger, more organized, and more influential party.
